This statement explains how Rohe processes your personal data and how you can exercise your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (“AVG”). This European regulation protects the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons, in particular their right to protection of personal data. We also explain in this statement which cookies we use on our website.
Rohe stores data in your personal file. This allows us to reach you at all times, keep our financial records in order and provide data to counterparties, judicial authorities and others involved in your case, only if and to the extent necessary for your case.
As a recipient and processor of your personal data, Rohe is a ‘controller’. We undertake to store only those personal data of yours that are necessary to provide you with our services and to maintain contact with you in that context.
Processing your data is necessary for the performance of our agreements. This includes data such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, position, bank number data of counterparties or third parties and any other personal data necessary for the execution of the assignment.
Only in exceptional cases do we process your data outside the scope of an agreement, for example to invite you or send updates about our firm.
Even if you are not a client of ours, we may include you in our file as a relation. For example, in the context of recruitment and personnel management, or because we maintain contact with you as (representative of a) counterparty. We never keep these data longer than is legally permitted in that context.
Rohe uses only functional cookies, including Google Analytics to collect statistical data on visits to its website. In doing so, we have set Google Analytics so that our visitors’ privacy is not infringed.
Rohe takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure security of personal data, taking into account the state of technology, implementation costs, as well as the nature, extent and context of the risk and the processing purposes.
Your personal data will be shared with third parties only to the extent necessary for the provision of services and in compliance with the aforementioned purposes. In addition, Rohe discloses personal data to a supervisor or other authority vested with public authority, if and to the extent there is a legal obligation to do so. Rohe does not share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Your data can be accessed by all partners, associates and support staff of Rohe. They all have a duty of confidentiality.
Rohe does not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the aforementioned purposes of data processing or required under laws and regulations.
You have the right to inspect your data at any time. You also have the right to request Rohe to rectify or erase your personal data, restrict its processing, or object to such processing. Rohe is also obliged to enable you to transfer your data to another controller, by providing you with such data in an appropriate form. You can submit a request to this effect, accompanied by a copy of a valid identity document and BSN number, using the contact details below. You may mask out your passport photo when doing so.
For complaints regarding the processing of your data by Rohe, please contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
